Nhar l-Erbgħa, 29 ta’ Mejju, Inizjamed, flimkien ma’ Creative Europe, se ttella’ serata letterarja ma’ Jan Carson, awtriċi Irlandiża li rebħet il-Premju Letterarju tal-Unjoni Ewropea tal-2019, permezz tar-rumanz The Firestarters. Carson għadha kif nediet ġabra ta’ stejjer qosra, Quickly, While They Have Still Horses, u se taqra siltiet minnha waqt din is-serata.

On Wednesday, 29 May, Inizjamed, in collaboration with Creative Europe, is holding a literary evening with Irish author Jan Carson, winner of the EU Prize for Literature in 2019 for her novel The Firestarters. Carson has just launched a collection of short stories, Quickly, While They Still Have Horses, and will be reading excerpts from this anthology.
The programme:
19:00 – Opening of the event
19:30 – Reading by Jan Carson
19:45 – Interview by Robert Pisani and Jan Carson
20:10 – Reading of Maltese translations of excerpts by Leanne Ellul and Jean Paul Borg
20:20 – Final reading by Jan Carson.
We will have some nibbles and wine for those attending. Everyone is welcome and entrance is free.
