Inizjamed hija organizzazzjoni kulturali Mediterranja, irreġistrata bħala Għaqda Volontarja f’Malta, VO/0355, li twaqqfet fl-1998 bil-għan li tmexxi proġetti kulturali u artistiċi, u b'mod partikolari, inizjattivi letterarji, fuq livell lokali u internazzjonali. Inizjamed tfittex li ġġedded l-espressjoni artistika f’Malta fid-dawl ta’ għarfien aħjar tal-varjetà kulturali li teżisti f’pajjiżna, fir-reġjun tal-Mediterran u lilhinn.

Inizjamed is a voluntary non-governmental cultural organisation (registered as a Voluntary Organisation in Malta, VO/0355) founded in 1998 in Malta, with the aim of creating cultural and artistic projects, and in particular, literary initiatives, within Malta and abroad. Inizjamed is committed towards the regeneration of culture and artistic expression in the Maltese Islands and actively promotes a greater awareness of the cultures of the Mediterranean.
